New Apple Watch Ads Highlight Features

If there’s one thing Apple consistently does well it’s create hip, cool ads that make you want to run out and buy their products. The tech giant has done it again with six new ads for the Apple Watch that in 15 seconds highlight some of the most desirable features of the device and what they can do for the user.

The ad called “Sprinkle” shows off the convenience of mobile payment system Apple Pay, which allows the user to purchase items via payment terminals. The ad explains: “Having Apple Pay on your watch is remarkably convenient. A gentle tap and beep confirm your payment information was sent. You never reveal your name, card number, or security code to the cashier, so your private information stays private.”

The ad labeled “Date” features how the Apple Watch shows the user messages and how they can be retrieved at a later time. “Ride” shows off how Siri and Apple Maps can work together to help the user get where he or she is going.

“Cycle” features the Apple Watch Activity app and how it can track the user’s workout while “Train” shows off how the device can keep up with the wearer’s heart rate. “Sing” shows the user recording a song using the Apple Watch and then sending it to his girlfriend.

This is just the right time for Apple to show off the most desirable features of the Apple Watch as the holiday shopping season approaches and rivals are flooding the market with competing smartwatches. The ads quickly and cleverly remind potential buyers of the ways that having an Apple Watch can improve their lives—or at least do more than just forward their messages and track their fitness.
