Tom Brady Joins TAG Heuer as Latest Brand Ambassador
When TAG Heuer held a launch event for the new Chrono Carrera – Heuer 01 on Tuesday night guests were treated to a special surprise when CEO Jean-Claude Biver introduced four time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady as the brand’s latest brand ambassador. After all the recent controversy surrounding the superstar quarterback of the New England Patriots, who better to represent a company whose motto is #Don’tCrackUnderPressure?
Brady was on hand to introduce the newest TAG Heuer timepiece but also used the occasion to raise money for the charitable organization Best Buddies by tossing a few signed footballs into the crowd. Hopefully, they were properly inflated.
The other star of the evening was the new Carrera – Heuer 01, the first of a new collection from TAG Heuer that is brand new from the ground up including case, caliber, design and construction. The new generation TAG Heuer case is made from steel for extra shock resistance while the dial has chronograph controls and an openwork date disc. A red column wheel and skeleton chronograph bridge are visible through the caseback. The modular construction using twelve different components allows an infinite combination of colors, treatments, materials and finishes. The Carrera – Heuer 01 is finished off with a strap of black perforated rubber.
