Many watch brands have partnership deals with at least one sports team or event but Hublot has raised the matchups to a fine art. At this weekโs Leaders Sport Business Summit, Hublotโs CEO Jean-Claude Biver shared some of his secrets for using sports to sell products like high-end watches.
Biver stated that sports icons strike a chord with Hublotโs target market because they teach valuable lessons about overcoming defeat. โThanks to every defeat you come closer to success. Since Hublotโs list of sponsorships includes famous names like Usain Bolt, the Dallas Cowboys and Ferrari, Biver is obviously on to something.
