Bovet Donates Timepiece to Only Watch Charity Auction
Hublot is not the only luxury watchmaker to contribute to the Only Watch 2015 charity auction coming up in Geneva on November 7. Bovet is donating an outrageously feminine and extravagant piece that is sure to make the lucky lady who gets it very happy.
The convertible Amadeo Fleurier 39 Lady Bovet has a 39mm white gold Amadeo c ase set with 236 diamonds and can be worn as a reversible wristwatch or pendant necklace. On the face of this watch is a pink mother-of-pearl guilloche dial set with diamonds while on the back is another pink mother-or-pearl dial, this one adorned by a miniature painting showing a pair of doves amid a bouquet of brightly colored flowers.
The crown and strap bolts are set with five briolette diamonds while the watch comes with an eye-catching purple alligator strap and white gold buckle. On the inside is a hand-wound caliber 13BM08AI movement that has seven days of power reserve.
The theme of the Amadeo Fleurier 39 Lady Bovet is peace and hope. This model has not yet been released but can be seen in the 2016 Bovet catalogue.
There is no price tag for this watch but similar models retail for $58,000 to $75,000. The Bovet Fleurier 39 Ladies Touch collection is elegant and refined with details like mother-of-pearl dials, inlaid flower designs and delicate diamonds. Case options include stainless steel, white gold and red gold. Each piece is a unique work of art.
The sixth annual Only Watch charity auction will feature 44 one-off timepieces created by some of the finest makers of luxury watches. The event is organized by the Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies and proceeds will go to research for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The 2015 Only Watch collection will tour the cities of Monaco, Hong Kong, Beijing, London, New York and Geneva from September 23 until November 7.
