Watches of Switzerland Opens New Store in London

There is no better proof of the healthy state of the luxury watch business than the number of new boutiques currently opening all over the world. Now Watches of Switzerland has announced plans for a high-tech new shop in the heart of Londonโ€™s Canary Wharf financial district.

In addition to the usual arrays of luxury timepieces from brands like Audemars Piguet, Baume & Mercier, Blancpain, Bell & Ross, Bremont, Hublot and Zenith, the new shop will have an in-store watchmaker on hand to offer advice as well as help with replacements for straps and batteries. The most interesting and innovative feature of the latest Watches of Switzerland location will be the interactive digital screens designed to give customers the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of haute horlogerie. After all, if youโ€™re going to spend thousands of dollars on a fine Swiss watch, donโ€™t you want to know a bit about its history and how it was produced?

Store manager Dermot Hay explained why this location was chosen. โ€œCanary Wharf is one of the most dynamic and exciting commercial and residential districts in the world. Watches of Switzerland is delighted to open our first boutique in the heart of this rapidly evolving community.

โ€œWe have brought together a magnificent range of Switzerlandโ€™s finest luxury watches for a discerning and knowledgeable clientele. The design of the boutique allows us great flexibility to introduce new concepts from luxury watch makers and to cater for the diverse needs of our customer base.โ€

The 976 sq. ft. boutique sounds like a perfect fit for the type of discriminating watch aficionado that is likely to frequent the London financial district, offering both a wide selection of models from the most coveted brands and personalized service for customers.

The new Watches of Switzerland location will be at 22 Canada Place in Canary Wharf, London.
