Scurfa Watches Diver One Silicon Watch Review

Hands on Watch Reviews Independent Scurfa

As the title states, this is a look at the upgraded Scurfa Diver One Silicon. You might remember the review that Michael Wolfe did on the previous version last year.. if not check it out HERE

What Scurfa, and owner Paul Scurfield decided to do was give it some upgrades, and keep the price basically the same.

So now you have a lumed ceramic bezel instead of aluminum, a domed sapphire crystal., a signed crown, and red accents on the dial and crown, instead of yellow.

Since Michael covered all the aspects of the previous version of this watch, I am not going to go into all of that. But I felt that were enough upgrades to warrant a look at the New Scurfa Diver One Silicon. Below is a video presentation to get a real time look, and the full specifications and my thoughts on the Scurfa Diver One.

As I said above, the main changes for the updated version are the domed sapphire, the signed crown and the red text on the dial and the red rubber insert on the crown.

After reading Michael’s review last year I felt the Diver One was a good value for what it offered. With the newest upgrades, it is a great value.

I've been an avid watch lover since the age of 7. Watches are not only my hobby but a passion. My favorite style used to be dive watches, but field or non bezel watches have been growing on me. When I'm not reviewing watches I am either cooking or with family and friends.

  1. It’s kinda hard for me to see the point of this watch. I mean.. If you want a ‘beater’ to swim with etc., wouldn’t a ~$50 Casio (that marlin diver model) be better? And on the other hand, for a serious/main watch, wouldn’t you want slightly better finishing/detailing/movement?

  2. The point is you can go to every high street and look in a shop window at ‘beaters’ made by multi billion dollar companies with thousands of employees or you can come to the watchreport and look at micro brands for a little bit of individualality and most are one man operations.

  3. I can’t find a retailer in the UK. Can this watch only be bought from the USA?

    • Scurfa does not have retailers, they sell directly online, as a matter of fact Scurfa is UK company. Take a look at their website for more info.
