Poll Says 69% of Americans Not Interested in the Apple Watch
While there are sure to be plenty of hardcore Apple fanatics camping out in front of their local mall in hopes of being among the first to buy the Apple Watch when it comes out next month, the majority of Americans are less than enthusiastic. A new poll from Reuters reveals that a whopping 69% of potential buyers have no interest in plunking down the cash for the pricey wearable device.
According to Reuters, 25% of those surveyed expressed interest in buying an Apple Watch while 69% had no intention of picking one up and 6% were unsure. The most interesting insight from the surveyโs results was that about 52% of the respondents agreed with a statement that smartwatches are a โpassing fad.โ
Of course, itโs much too soon to call the Apple Watch a flop since many of us didnโt think we wanted an iPhone or iPad before they came out. Meanwhile, Apple is in the process of clearing out competing smartwatches and fitness bands from its stores to make more room for the heavily hyped wearable.

A perfect example of a slanted article / title. You state 69% of Americans are not interested in the watch. If we look at the reverse, that implies that 31% of Americans are interested or a mere 100,000,731. I believe if Apple manages to sell 100 million watches to the 31% that are interested, it may not be considered a flop.
