If you missed out on the Jaguar with a matching Bremont watch (or Bremont watch with a matching car, depending on how you look at it) deal, you can still pick up a luxury watch inspired by an iconic luxury auto. Parmigiani Fleurier is honoring the 10th anniversary of the company’s partnership with Bugatti automobiles by introducing three limited edition watches that owe their distinctive style to the legendary motorcar.

The current Bugatti Veyron is one of the most exclusive cars in the world, coming with a base price of $1,700,000—and that’s before you add in the optional equipment. Famous (and well-heeled) Bugatti owners include Tom Cruise, Jay-Z, Chris Brown, Tom Brady and Cristiano Ronaldo. Mark Wahlberg could be seen racing around in a Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse sports car in this summer’s action film “Transformers: Age of Extinction.”
Almost as expensive as the actual car is the watch that it inspired, the Bugatti Mythe. The first of three Anniversary Edition timepieces based on the famous autos, the Bugatti Mythe gets design inspiration from the Bugatti 370 model. The watch has an Art Deco style dial made from an engraved gold plate that recalls the Type 57 grille that appeared on some of the first Bugatti autos. The storied history of the Bugatti goes all the way back to 1909.

The new Bugatti Mythe updates previous Type 370 models with a new dial, new finishes and new materials but keeps the familiar drum-shaped case. What’s new is a two-toned case of satin-brushed pink gold and mottled anthracite grey. All elements are vertically mounted to create the feeling of an engine and a fully in-house movement was created especially for the Mythe. The 10-day power reserve may be observed via a rotating drum visible through the top of the watch. Details include hand-beveled angles, hand polished mirror elements and circular graining on the plates.
Rounding out the Bugatti Anniversary Edition collection are the Bugatti Victoire and the Bugatti Révélation, both highlighted by surfaces of mottled anthracite grey and burnished gold on the middle of the case.

Also new is the Bugatti Legends Capsule Collection of clothing designed to coordinate with the new limited edition Bugatti Veyron autos. There are just six of these $3 million hypercars being made, each inspired by a person who helped to shape the history of the Bugatti. The fashion items, which include leather jackets, pants, gloves, belts, hats, scarves and bags, are all crafted from the same leathers used in the interiors of the cars and are only available for purchase by the buyers of the Bugatti autos corresponding to each line. Talk about exclusive!
The Bugatti Type 370 Myth from Parmigiani Fleurier is available in a numbered edition and the price will be revealed on request. Expect the tab to be in the neighborhood of $500,000.
