Rafael Nadel to Wear Richard Mille Tourbillon RM 27-02
While he may not win every game he plays, international tennis champ Rafael Nadel will look like a winner with the Richard Mille Tourbillon RM 27-02 on his wrist. The Spanish player will be sporting the newly launched luxury watch in the upcoming 114th French Open and international matches.
Even if Nadel takes a beating on the court, the Tourbillon RM 27-02 will stand up to most anything since new technologies have been incorporated into the timepiece that reinforce its resistance to damage. The RM 27-02 is the first to use a skeletonized baseplate called the โunibodyโ that consists of a caseplate and baseplate that have been fused together into one piece.
Richard Mille engineers also developed a material called NTPT carbon that has extra strong resistance against micro cracks and another original material known as TPT quartz which is made up of hundreds of layers of quartz filaments piled on top of each other for extreme strength and resistance to high temperatures.
The 28-year-old Nadel is currently ranked #7 worldwide and has won 14 singles grand slams.
Thousands of Bogus Watches Seized in Hanoi
Although a true aficionado of fine timepieces is way too savvy to buy a โluxury watchโ from a less-than-reputable seller, there will always be those gullible enough to keep the sellers of counterfeit goods in business. Thatโs why it isnโt especially surprising that officials confiscated 10,000 knockoffs of luxury watches on May 22 in Hanoi.
The bogus booty was seized from two college students who claimed to have purchased the merchandise from overseas and were selling the watches online in Vietnam. This would seem to indicate that there is a large market out there for counterfeit luxury watches, one that crooks are all too happy to service.
Sure, youโre smart enough to buy your luxury watches from reliable sources but there will always be suckers who canโt resist a โbargain.โ
