Get Ready for Las Vegas Jewelry Week
Shopping for luxury items is always fun, even if you can’t actually afford to bring any of your favorites home with you. Las Vegas will be the place to do your fantasy shopping later this week as several expos hit the Strip with millions of dollars in fabulous designer goods!
Beginning on May 26, seven trade shows will take over the Strip for what has become known as “Las Vegas Jewelry Week.” The most exclusive of these is The Couture Show, which will take place at the Wynn Las Vegas for five days beginning May 28. This luxe showcase for major brands in jewelry, watches and designer items is expected to lure 4,000 buyers who will gather to check out the latest collections from more than 350 exhibitors including David Yurman, Lagos and Roberto Coin.
This year’s show is of special interest to fanciers of fine timepieces since the number of luxury watch brands showing their wares at The Couture Show has been growing steadily. Couture has recently signed on the advising and consulting firm Kaiser Time Inc. to develop the watch category for the expo. Brands exhibiting for the first time this year include Baume & Mercier, Gucci, Hermes and Tudor.
As if this one show didn’t have enough glitz to light up The Strip, there will be other events like the JCK Show, a jewelry tradeshow taking place at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Conference Center May 26 – June 1.
Collectors of estate jewelry and watches will want to view the wares on display at the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show taking place May 28 – 31 and the International Watch and Jewelry Guild Show running May 25-26.
This week Las Vegas is the place to get your first look at what we will be seeing at retailers for fall 2015!
