With spring here and summer right around the corner, it’s only fitting that we review another Lum-Tec watch that will fit the seasons. The G series from Lum-Tec is definitely a watch with some hot weather flavor. The collection boasts a total of 10 different color styles to choose from, 4 of which are PVD coated casings. Apart from their distinct colors, the skeletonized case itself is one feature that sets this watch apart the everyday norm that you may be used to. The particular model we are taking a look at is the G5, the blue series of the collection, and comes with a price tag of $535 USD. Let’s break it down and see what entails.

The packaging and presentation by Lum-Tec is one thing you never have to worry about. Packaged inside two shipping boxes, your watch will arrive in the classic Lum-Tec watch box, safe and secure. Included is the Lum-Tec COA, instruction manual, and warranty information for the timepiece all nicely tucked into the box top sleeve. Included with all G series watches is an extra set of spring bars for the convenience of switching out the straps to your preferred choice. Be sure to check one of the inside compartments for the set.

  2. Eh, it’s an unconventional design, sure. Unattractive, though? I don’t think so… It’s got a certain appeal precisely because it’s unusual and visually “loud”. It’s pretty much made to stand out, and in that sense, I’d say it’s pretty good-looking.

    Also. Kinda wondering who, in the end, won. The widget on the giveaway page (at the time of this writing) isn’t showing any entries or winners.
