Chanel Introduces Limited Edition Première Rock Timepieces
The house of Chanel created the Première timepiece back in 1987 with a design inspired by the shape of the bottle stopper on the label’s legendary No. 5 fragrance. Now the watch is getting an edgy urban update with the release of the limited edition Première Rock timepiece.
The new Première Rock watch combines Chanel’s traditional mother-of-pearl dial with a trendy triple-row chain in the buyer’s choice of pink, blue or beige interwoven leather. On the inside is a high-precision quartz movement. This model is available in a limited run of just 1,000 pieces.
Also in the latest collection is the Première double-row watch with a black lacquered dial and double-row steel chain bracelet.
IWC Schaffhausen Releases Limited Edition Tribeca Film Festival Watch
Even if you aren’t the winning bidder for that Christie’s auction we mentioned last week, you can still pick up your own “Tribeca Film Festival 2015” Portofino watch from IWC Schaffhausen. But be warned that this is a very limited edition.
In honor of three years as partners with NYC’s Tribeca Film Festival, the Swiss watchmaker is releasing the Special Portofino Hand-Wound Eight Days Edition timepiece in a limited run of 100 pieces. The stainless steel case houses a 59210-caliber movement with battery time of up to 192 hours. The slate dial evokes the streets of New York while the Bordeaux of the sub-dial is a reminder of the film festival’s red carpet glamour. The see-through back case reveals the festival’s logo as well as “One out of 100” lettering to show the watch’s number in the limited run.
While the auction for the white gold version of the “Tribeca Film Festival 2015” watch along with the rest of the memorable package will end April 10, the 100 watches will be available exclusively at IWC boutiques in the U.S. as long as they last.
