On my 7.5 wrist, you can see while it is large it hugs the wrist nicely. While it has a large dial opening which usually makes a watch seem larger, I don’t feel that the P47 wears oversized beyond its listed dimensions.
In conclusion, I think the P47 Thunderbolt is a nice mix of modern and classic pilot styles rolled into one.
I am primarily a dive watch enthusiast, but the P47 is a pilot watch that really fits my style. The dial is nicely contrasted and beautiful to look at and the leather strap feels like butter on the wrist. I also think it’s just a nice rugged looking watch that will look great with shirt and jeans on the weekend, or with a nice shirt and a pair of khakis. For a quartz chronograph with all these design elements, and attention to detail, as well as the well machined case and very adequate lume, I feel the P-47 is a great value for the price. There isn’t really anything I would change about it, nor is there anything negative I can say.
Would I purchase or recommend to a friend: YES.
Thank you to Uniq Watches for providing the P-47 for review.
