TAG Heuer Opens First Boutique in Panama City
The vibe was lively and Latin as TAG Heuer execs cut the ribbon on the brandโs first luxury boutique in Panama City, Panama. This is the Swiss watchmakerโs sixth boutique in Latin America and number 169 worldwide with premium locations in fashion centers like Paris, Geneva, Hong Kong and of course, New York City.
Trendy Panamanian DJ Sara Castro kept the music going as guests toured the store and admired the walls adorned with giant visuals of the brandโs famous ambassadors. The overall concept of the boutiqueโs interior design was inspired by the four universes of TAG Heuer: sports, lifestyle, heritage and Swiss know-how.
There were eye-catching exhibits on display including the unique Carrera Mikropendulum epitomic watch that is regulated by an electromagnetic field rather than traditional gears and a TAG Heuer Carrera 1997 with blue dial.
The newest TAG Heuer boutique will be open to the public from April 29 to May 2 when guests will be able to enjoy a motor racing competition on the ground level of the mall and vie for a prize from the brand.
If youโre in Panama City and want to drop by, the TAG Heuer Boutique is located on the ground floor of the Multiplaza Pacific Mall.
Will Floyd Mayweather Have to Sell His Watch Collection?
Boxer Floyd Mayweather could add a cool $180 million to his fortune if he defeats Manny Pacquiao this weekend but that hasnโt stopped his dad from worrying that his free-spending son will wind up broke. Floyd Mayweather Sr. told the London Daily Mail that heโs afraid that the luxury loving boxer will blow all of his cash on cars, designer shoes, gambling, women and expensive watches. That watch collection alone is said to be worth a half million dollars.
Hey Floyd, if you lose on Saturday, can we get a look at those watches before you part with them?
