TAG Heuer Hits Saint Tropez

TAG Heuer Hits Saint Tropez

The small fishing village of Saint Tropez has long been celebrated as a glamorous playground for the rich and famous going back to the days when French sex kitten Brigitte Bardot flaunted her legendary curves in a tiny bikini on the sunny beach. Now the Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer is bringing a pop-up shop to the seaside getaway.

The temporary TAG Heuer boutique, the product of a partnership with Kronometry1999, will be open on the Rue Allard to introduce visitors to the world of โ€œSwiss Avant-Garde since 1960โ€โ€”with a totally modern edge. The shop will host the launch of the brandโ€™s new watch presentation that will be seen later at TAG Heuer boutiques all over the world.

The new space reflects TAG Heuerโ€™s trademark four areas of expression: sport, lifestyle, art and Expertise&Heritage. Natural and high tech materials have been combined for a warm ambiance that is sure to please the brandโ€™s international clientele.

A trip to the TAG Heuer pop-up boutique is a must for watch loving jet setters who will be vacationing in Saint Tropez this summer.

Romain Jerome Updates Skylab Watch

TAG Heuer Hits Saint Tropez

In 2014, Swiss watchmaker Romain Jerome launched the Skylab, the luxury brandโ€™s first skeleton timepiece, and now Romain Jerome has updated the model for 2015 with two new limited edition versions.

The new Skylab watches feature a five layered skeleton that gives an ideal look at the mechanical movement underneath, while the larger 48mm case holds two sapphire glasses to enhance the view. In keeping with the Moon-DNA theme of the collection is a Speed Metal model which has a bezel infused with Apollo 11 spacecraft steel.

The red gold model sports the look of a solar system as seen through the portholes of a space ship. Both Skylab 2015 models have a custom made black alligator strap and are available in limited editions of 99 pieces each.
