If you’re considering the purchase of an Apple Watch when they hit stores in April but would like to try one out first, the gadget rental start-up Lumoid will give you the chance to rent one of the devices before making a major investment.
Lumoid already has a waiting list for potential buyers who would prefer to take a test drive before actually committing the $350-plus for the brand new wearable.
At the moment, Lumoid charges customers $20 to rent a set of five wearable devices for a week, a fee that is waived with the purchase of one of the items. The Apple Watch will be added to the list of available devices when it is released with the weekly rental price expected to go up by an as yet unspecified amount.
