Kylie Jenner Gets $30K Rolex for Graduation
Many of us fondly remember receiving a nice watch for high school graduation. It probably was a gift from our parents and was our first piece of “grownup” jewelry. Of course, most of us aren’t part of the Kardashian clan and this group does everything on a grander scale.
Last week manager/mom Kris Jenner threw a joint graduation party for daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, both of who picked up their diplomas over the last two years. The latter happily posted photos on Snapchat of her sheepskin as well as a pair of shiny new baubles that would make other grads green with envy.
One was a silver nail bracelet by Cartier with a price tag of $7,300. The bracelet seems like a perfect choice for the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner family since the piece is described thusly on the Cartier website: “Juste un Clou While is the expression of rebellious nature and the reflection of self-belief. This collection traces the outlines of a style that is both modern and daring.”
But the real head-turner was a diamond-encrusted gold Rolex watch with an estimated value of $29,950. 17-year-old Kylie remained mum on the giver of this extravagant item but her steady beau Tyga had been spotted shopping for bling at Polacheck’s Jewelers in Calabasas, Calif., a favorite with fanciers of luxury watches. The rapper was seen leaving the store with a bag in hand just hours before Kylie posted a pic of the pricey Rolex on Snapchat.
Although there are as yet no photos of Kylie flaunting her grad presents on the red carpet we can be sure that we’ll get to see them up close and personal on an upcoming episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” since nothing this family does ever stays private.
