Fans of basketball star Dwyane Wade have an extra item to put on their holiday wish lists since Hublot has just launched a new special edition watch, the second honoring their fashion-conscious brand ambassador. Back in 2011, Hublot introduced the sporty King Power “D-Wade” watch and now they have followed up with the more sophisticated Classic Fusion Dwyane Wade. This elegant timepiece features a 45mm polished black ceramic case embellished with red, black and gold symbolizing his team the Miami Heat. Wade’s logo appears on the counter at 3 o’clock along with his signature at 6 o’clock. The watch has 18-karat gold parts and an alligator band. The timepiece is packaged in a red and black box that does double duty as a travel case for up to four watches.
The launch was celebrated at a gala party on September 16 at Omar’s in Greenwich Village, which was converted into “Club Hublot” for the evening. Along with Vincent Vuillaume, President of Hublot of America, Wade proudly presented the new watch to the public and a star-studded lineup of guests.
Hublot also surprised Wade and his new bride, actress Gabrielle Union, with matching Big Bang Jeans watches. The starry couple were wed in Miami on August 30 and then embarked on a globetrotting honeymoon that included visits to the Maldives, Africa’s Serengeti and the Seychelles.
In addition to being an Olympic gold medalist and three-time NBA champion, Wade is noted for his sense of style. All of this makes him an ideal brand ambassador for Hublot, the official timekeeper of the Miami Heat.

The Hublot King Power D-Wade watch has a list price of $25,500 and the Classic Fusion should come with a similar price tag.
