Huawei Introduces First Smartwatch
The smartwatch wars are heating up as a new contender made its debut on Sunday at the 2015 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Chinese firm Huawei Technologies gave the public its first look a wearable device aimed at the luxury end of the smartwatch market.
The 42mm timepiece is made from cold-forged stainless steel and will be the first smartwatch with a sapphire crystal dial. The functional crown button is placed at the 2 oโclock position while on the inside are the usual Android specs of a 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. No details on pricing or release dates have been made available but the Huawei Watch will sold in the U.S.
