Following closely on the heels of the veryย successfulย and wellย receivedย Laguna, Halios has released additional details and prototype photos for their upcoming dive watch The 1000m (aka “The Puck”). Featuring a hooded lug design and a 47 x 15mm case, Haliosย has aligned this model as the follow up to the Holotype. The Holotype, which we reviewed here, was Halios’ first watch and was met with massive fan fare which lead to the limited run of models completely selling out. This new model looks like a very clean and precise design but some details will change before the proposed November release. You can read the entire blog post (additional photos too) but Halios has stated that there will be changes to the bezel insert, slight changes to the hands and the final design will use a completely white second hand. Strap size will be 24mm and the watch will follow its older siblings in featuring a sapphire crystal. For those of you keeping score, Halios is 3 for 3 so far. The Holotype and Bluering (both limited models) sold out completely and the non-limited Laguna has sold out of the black and grey models until fall of this year. When November rolls around we will do what we can to get a 1000m in for review before a waiting list develops.
