Forecast for Luxury Goods is Sunny in 2015
The turmoil in Asia and the uncertainly of the Swiss franc have not dampened the enthusiasm of the luxury industry as a whopping 90% of marketers are planning expansions for 2015.
Wealth-X surveyed marketers for more than 1,000 luxury brands including everything from clothing and watches to autos and boats. Respondents were almost uniformly optimistic with 43% planning new launches in just the first quarter and 16% opening new stores. Much of that expansion will be focused on the U.S market which many marketers see as the new emerging target for luxury goods.
