Romain Jerome Launches Watch for Serious “Pac-Man” Fans
Computer gaming is a pastime that you get or you don’t. Those who love gaming love it with a passion while the rest of us have no idea why they remain so enthralled by their chosen games. One longtime favorite is Pac-Man, a game that has been around so long that early fans have had time to grow up and be able to afford more expensive toys.
It’s for those fans that Romain Jerome has designed a limited edition luxury watch, the “Pac-Man Level II 40 Colours.” This officially licensed watch aimed exclusively at the well-heeled Pac-Mac fanatic will be available in 20 pieces only, each carrying a hefty price tag of 1,900,000 yen or $15,480.46 USD.
The 40mm “Pac-Man Level II 40 Colors” watch features a black PVD-coated steel case with black rubber stellar-patterned strap. The stellar-pattered back sports a medallion in Moon SilverRJ representing the Moon while the black 3D dial has pixilated Pac-Man characters and strawberries lacquered in various colors.
The watch is not available online and can only be purchased through approved Romain Jerome retailers.
Son of China’s Richest Man Has Two Apple Watches – for His Dog
Many of us have fantasized about growing up with ultra-wealthy parents who could buy us each and every thing our little hearts desired—until we noticed how obnoxious some real-life rich brats have grown up to be.
The latest story of a kid with more money than sense comes from China where the spoiled scion of the country’s wealthiest man has posted a photo of his dog sporting two Apple Watches. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the son of real estate developer Wang Jianlin added this snotty message: “I have new watches! I’m supposed to have four watches since I have four long legs. But that seems too tuhao so I kept it down to two, which totally fits my status. Do you have one?”
Yes, the dog has his own social media account, along with his own Fendi bag and a taste for Fiji bottled water. But let’s face it—the only time a dog really cares about is feeding time.
