Michael Kors Series 100
โ1 watch = 100 mealsโ, thatโs the mantra of Michael Kors with his collection titled Series 100. Michael Kors has pledged his assistance to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in the fight against global hunger. Each watch sold will provide 100 meals to children in need. So far the count has already surpassed 2 million meals around the world. Halle Berry has also thrown her weight behind this magnanimous project.
The collection comes in two versions โ a gold ion plated stainless steel, and a polished stainless steel. The gentโs edition carries a case size of 45mm, which though considered oversized, fits very well even on smaller wrists. The ladyโs version measures in at 38mm, which is considered to be a very trendy size for women. The generous fixed bezel holds firmly a scratch resistant mineral crystal. The main crown is ridged for ease of use when making modifications to the time and date. The three piece link bracelet is fitted with a dual release push button safety clasp which maximizes the security on the wrist.
The dial color options range from blue for the stainless steel and turquoise for the gold plated edition. The striking dial carries an etched map of the world and features the inscription โ100 Seriesโ just above the 6 oโclock position. The minute and hour hands carry lume for optimal legibility during low light conditions. The chronograph has the capacity to time any event up to 12 hours with break downs of both minutes and seconds via a totalizer at 9 and a central chronograph seconds hand. The hour markers are comprised of both indexes and Arabic numerals which have been applied for a raised effect. A conservative minute track lies on the flange bordering this supremely sophisticated dial. A neat date aperture can be found at the 4:30 position completing this dial.
The Series 100 collection maintains a water resistance of up to 10 ATM (100 meters). Running this timepiece is an accurate quartz movement which allows for a quick date change. The case back on all models are engraved with the message โWatch Hunger Stopโ and โ1 Watch = 100 Mealsโ, as well as Michael Korsโ signature. These pieces retail for $295. Michael Kors donates $25 of each sale to the WFP.

I have a MK-1126 series 100 that has no signature on the back. It states on the back “ALL STAINLESS STEEL 251102S 10 ATM” in a curved position and “MICHAEL KORS MK-1126 CE” in the center. The front of the watch looks just like the Michael Kors series 100 watch you advertise with the light blue base and gold colored watchband. Is this watch authentic or a knockoff. It’s been offered to me for $89. Any reply would be appreciated.
