I received the Jenny with a signed rubber strap, which is the same one Jenny advertises on their website. Jenny was kind enough to provide me with a Beads of Rice bracelet as well, which they now offer. Since the bracelet option offers a more โvintage look,โ off came the rubber strap and on went the bracelet, which was a bit difficult to size due to Loctite. A ten minute bracelet boil is strongly recommended. Should you decide that the rubber strap will suffice, which is designed to curve around the case, you wonโt be disappointed, as the quality and comfort is on par with my Omega rubber strap. One thing that needs to be mentionedโฆitโs a lint magnet. This watch also looks killer on my favorite strap of all, the ISOfrane. If youโre the kind of guy that has โjewelsโ big enough to swim with Great White sharks, then notching a 22mm ISOfrane down to a 20mm will be a walk in the park. A friend was able to fit his 22mm ISOfrane into the 21mm lugs but I prefer to just notch it. Remember to measure once, cut twice, and breathe, or is it the other way around?
The Jenny uses a High grade Swiss Made self-winding 2824-2 ETA high beat movement with an engraved rotor. Give her a good wind and sheโll last you for about 42 hours.
As for my closing impressions, Iโd like to leave you with this deep thought from a not-so deep guy instead. All too often in todayโs watch world we make impulse purchasing decisions that lead to the inevitable flip. As a professional flipper myself, I believe that itโs mostly due to the empty reasons behind the purchase since we arenโt buying much more than a time telling hunk of metal that is new on the scene and looks okay. Imagine, if you will, if we chose to make other important decisions in the same manner, knowing they could be un-done instantly. While far-fetched, would one choose a life partner using similar criteria?
Why shouldnโt we not put more emphasis on the important things, like history, proven quality, reliability, and looks to boot, when choosing a watch since most reading this review openly express horology as being a passion of theirs. I think itโs time that we look at the big picture of things, at the totality of the circumstances, and not just the here-and-now.
So, if youโre looking for a watch with marriage-like qualities and family values youโll be sure to love, your search is over.

Really nice review and fantastic pictures. This watch has been on my radar. Thanks for covering the important details to help me make an informed decision.
Bryan – thank you for stopping by!
Great review, and I couldn’t agree more. My orange dial Jenny is an amazing watch, especially for the price.
Clouser – thank you for your comment. Hope you’re enjoying it to this day.
Just acquired a Jenny 300 and it is top rate as is the customer service from Jenny. The only improvement to this reissue that I’d like to see is a domed crystal. To me, that would complete the nod to a vintage diver and avoid the flat, edge-to-edge design since the bezel is also sapphire.
All in all, it’s a gorgeous, comfortable, watch with one of the closest to original reissue styles. Wonderful job Jenny, and great review. Thanks.
Thank you Frank!
Just picked up a silver dial 300 from the Doxa website. They are on sale as of today, Jan 20, 2019. Worth checking out of you have a hankering. sadly the blue model shown is sold out, as is the bead of rice bracelet option. But still a deal for a watch with great history that stayed somewhat close to the original.
