Yesterday Halios posted some very interesting photos to their blog. Seen here, the photos depict the new Halios Laguna which is slated for release in May of this year. The Laguna will follow the massively sucessful Holotype and the BlueRing dive watches. The Laguna will be poweredย by an ETA 2824-2 Swiss automatic movement, boast 500m WR, and measure 43 x 15mm. There will be three bezel insert options (see picture below). No price is listed as of yet. According to the blog post, this prototype is an accurate look at what to expect from the Laguna, and it is gorgeous. The cushion case, sword hands and reflector (internal rotating bezel) combine to make one of the most attractive new pieces we have seen in a while. Among Halios fans (and dive watch collectors in general) this will undoubtedly be one of the most anticipated new releases of the year. Stay tuned to the Halios blog for information on the pending pre-order.
UPDATE May 10th: Halios launched their new site yesterday and it is confirming the release date of the Laguna is still slated for this month. Also, they have details about the next Halios model, the “1000m” which can be seen here.
