by watchwriter

Making of Chronograph watches is the area where Audemars Piguet is considered to have pioneered the art for over 80 years of its long watchmaking history. Also, being a part of the Royal Oak family, the watchmaker is famous for its chronograph watches featuring octagonal bezels with hexagonal screw designs.

As a part of the twenty years of celebration of its Royal Oak Chronograph, the company has recently released seven new models in its 2017 collection.

These new models feature two-tone dials with some of the minor changes that include larger chronograph counters at 3’oclock and 9’oclock positions and the hours have turned a bit shorter and wider. All these Royal Oak hands come with an additional luminescent. The date window has been placed between the four and five o’clock hour markings giving it an easy read at-a-glance.

The Grande Tapisserie dial of the watches come in two different patterns. One features a brown or blue dial with pink gold markers and 18k pink gold casing along with a matching alligator strap or a bracelet. The other is a steel variant with black, silver and blue dial with white gold hour markers along with stainless steel bracelets.

This entire watch collection is powered with a self-winding Calibre 2385 with a power reserve of 40 hours. Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph come with a 41mm x 11mm of case size having glare proof sapphire crystal and screw locked crown. This gives the watch a water resistant ability up to 50 meters.

The stainless steel variant is priced atย EUR23,900, while the pink gold model with alligator strap comes at EUR37,800 and the pink gold models with the same strap come at EUR 55,800.
