The crown is a push-pull crown and functions well. For this military style watch I would have preferred a screw down crown, but that’s just really nit picking on my end. The crystal is an AR coated sapphire, which I feel is important, as it’s the best watch crystal you can have and many watches at this price point would have gone with mineral.
The black dial has a matte finish, with large Arabic numbers, and the 12, 3,6, 9 in a very large font. The minute and hour hands are identical in thickness with the minute hand being longer as usual. They are sword style hands, which is something not always seen on non dive watches. Under the 12 you have the Georgian Flag and Georgian text. The date display is “Uniq” (pun intended) as it’s replicated an Armored Personal Carrier’s gunner window. Now being honest, I know nothing about gunner windows, and to me it reminds me of a magnifying glass of sorts. Either way, its nice attention to detail and brings together the whole military theme without being gimmicky.
The case back depicts the same logo you will find on the ammo presentation box, which is a military officer with a rifle. The case back is done in brushed steel and the engraving is nicely done, with no rough spots to feel on your wrist.
