Bausele to Debut First Australian Watch at Baselworld

ย bausele

Baselworld is the worldโ€™s largest watch fair so itโ€™s only natural that it would take place in Switzerland, where the finest examples of the craft are made. This year there will be one line of timepieces on display that carry a very different lineage. Bausele will be the first Australian brand to show off its wares at Baselworld, fulfilling a dream of the companyโ€™s founder Christopher Hoppe.

Hoppe was born in Switzerland and attended Baselworld as a child before growing up to work for the Swatch Group. Now he will be bringing his Australian-designed watches to the industryโ€™s prestigious invitation-only event. โ€œAnd now I go back to my Swiss home with a watch I created in Australia. I never thought this would happen,โ€ he said.

Hoppe has high hopes of garnering a significant number of orders for his Bausele watches for men and women when he brings them to his homeland next month.
