Obris Morgan does a really great job with the presentation of the Explorer. Arriving in a bright orange pelican case, there is no doubt that the watch is secure during shipment. The pelican case, in my opinion, is a great case that enables you to re-use a watch box for multiple purposes: securing items while boating, beach travel, or even a carry on for all sorts of travel purposes.

When you open the case, the Explorer is rested comfortably in a cut out foam casing. With the Explorer comes a rubber strap, extra screw-bar, screwdriver for switching from bracelet to strap, and the regular warranty and instruction manuals. Overall, I was very pleased with the packaging of the Explorer.

Getting to the watch, the Explorer model sent for review is the DLC, blue on blue model. With black watches, DLC is the only way to go in my opinion. When I wear a watch, I donโ€™t want to have to worry about being cautious and constantly keep reminding myself not to bang my wrist on anything. I want the ability to put a watch on and go about my day knowing that the casing and bracelet of my timepiece is going to hold up. DLC provides you that comfort.

Ben,

Yes, you can either choose from brushed SS, blasted SS, or the DLC coated. Check out the Obris Morgan site here: http://www.obrismorgan.com/explorerpage.html
