Zenith Heritage Ultra-Thin Lady Moonphase
Zenith holds the distinction of being the very first Manufacture. Founder Georges Favre-Jacot had a vision that revolutionized the watchmaking process. The Heritage Ultra-Thin Lady Moonphase is one such example of Zenith’s unswerving dedication to the tenets of its legacy.
The case of this watch is fashioned from a solid single block of stainless steel and carries case dimensions of 33mm for the diameter (excluding the main crown) and a truly ultra-thin case height of 8.65mm. The bezel is adorned with a single row of individually set, full cut, round brilliant diamonds. These diamonds offer supreme scintillation due to their exceptional quality grading – IF-VVS1 for the clarity, and Top Wesselton color. The main crown is ridged which makes the winding of the watch quite easy.
The dial on this model is blue with a brushed sunray pattern. The hour markers and dauphine hands are faceted and rhodium colored which stand out nicely against the dial. At the 6 o’clock position rests a moonphase which features a guilloche design in a partial sunburst motif. The small seconds can be found at the 9 position.
The Heritage Ultra-Thin Lady Moonphase is powered by the mechanical self-winding elite 692 movement. This movement has the amazing thickness of 3.97mm. This is truly spectacular feat of watchmaking. The movement has a minimum power reserve of 50 hours. The balance wheel beats unremittingly at 28,800 VpH (4 Hz). To decorate this movement, a Cotes de Genève pattern is used on the oscillating weight.
A blue alligator leather strap with large square scales is used and is equipped with a protective rubber lining. Securing the strap is a classic tang type buckle made from stainless steel. The dial window uses a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflection treatment on both sides for crystal clear legibility under all conditions.
