The Montblanc Bohème Moongarden Collection is Heavenly
Recently the designers of fine watches have been looking to the stars for inspiration and the result has been a plethora of timepieces that incorporate astrological influences like the moon and other heavenly bodies. The latest of these is the Bohème Moongarden collection from Montblanc, a group of luxury mechanical watches for women that stylishly combine elegance and function.
The sliver of a crescent moon adorning the dial at 6 o’clock is just a hint of what the Bohème Moongarden watches have to offer. These romantic calendar watches also use the 12 stages of the moon to indicate the months of the year. Day and night are indicated by the moonphase disc which is light blue with a golden sun by day and dark blue with a smiling moon and stars by night.
The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating while the sapphire crystal caseback allows a view of the movement. That automatic MB19/17 movement boasts 42 hours of power reserve.
The Montblanc Bohème Collection offers several design options including 5N 18 karat rose gold or stainless steel. A bezel set with 70 Top Wesselton diamonds is available for either model. Flowing Arabic numerals are set on a guilloche dial along with 90 facets and leaf-shaped hands.
Montblanc also offers a choice of dial colors: a silvery white opaline or deep blue. Interchangeable leather straps are available in a variety of colors and textures.
Prices for the Montblanc Bohème Collection start at $4,600 for the steel model with no diamonds to $6,800 for the model with blue dial and 78 Top Wesselton diamonds all the way up to $12,800 for the rose gold model with diamonds.
Also in the Montblanc Bohème Moongarden collection are coordinating pieces of jewelry and writing instruments, some made from Ayoka freshwater pearls.
This collection is sure to be a hit with lovers of heavenly bodies — and luxury women’s timepieces.
