TAG Heuer Revs Up Monaco Grand Prix

While the rest of us were grilling hot dogs and guzzling beer at a neighborhood backyard BBQ, the high rollers were racing their engines at this yearโ€™s Monaco Grand Prix. TAG Heuer and some of the brandโ€™s ambassadors were on hand to support the McLaren-Honda teamโ€”and show off a few fine watches, of course!

TAG Heuer has a long and illustrious history with the Automobile Club of Monaco with a number of winners taking the chequered flag at the legendary Monaco Grand Prix over the years. Since 2011, TAG Heuer has been the Official Partner of the race as well as having the Official Watch and the Official Sunglasses.

The night before the race TAG Heuer CEO and President of the LVMH Group Watch Division Jean-Claude Biver hosted an exclusive party aboard the SeaDream yacht where he welcomed guests including the latest brand ambassador and this yearโ€™s Grand Prix โ€œGrid Girlโ€ Cara Delevingne, the current McLaren-Honda team and celebrity DJ Mark Ronson who kept the relaxed vibe going all night long.

On the morning of the race, TAG Heuer ambassadors Cara Delavigne and Cristiano Ronaldo dropped by the McLaren-Honda garage to offer their best wishes to drivers Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button.

Of course TAG Heuer took advantage of all these festivities to show off several new watches for 2015 including the McLaren Formula 1 โ€œ30th Anniversary Edition.โ€ The โ€œCara Delavigneโ€ special editions are as trendy and glamorous as the โ€œIt Girlโ€ herself while the โ€œAyrton Sennaโ€ Chrono special editions with โ€œLegendโ€ steel bracelet honor the legendary driver. Since Monaco is located by the sea what could be more perfect for the occasion than the TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer-01 or the all new Aquaracer 300M?

So enjoy your hot dog this Memorial Day and fantasize that next year you will be hanging out on a yacht or racing in the Monaco Grand Prix.
