Preview of the new Artego Sea King

by WatchReport

Sea-king-artego A few months ago we got a chance to review the Artego 300m Diver and loved it. It seems Artego has been busy as they recently launched a new model, the Sea King. This tool style diver is water resistant to 2000m (6600 feet!), powered by an ETA-2824-2 and comes equipped with a domed sapphire crystal with inside anti-reflective coating. The Sea King measures 44 x 17.5 mm and looks really nice in all six dial color options. Its nice to see Artego going with a swiss movement and creating a no-holds barred tool diver. You can choose from black, teal, yellow, orange, light blue or my favourite, white. These are available directly from the Artego website for $690 (holiday sale, down from $850) and we hope to have a hands on review shortly, so follow @watchreport on twitter for updates.

I’m curious if anyone knows who actually manufactures this watch or who is the parent company? If you take a look at the Debaufre Triton 2000M and the Deep Blue Master 2000M Diver, you can clearly see that these are the same product with different dials and hands. I’m more intrigued now that I’ve seen this item brand – labeled from three different sellers.
