We here at WatchReport review a lot of watches, myself included of course – this is a review site after all. I always try and concentrate on the watch and the price when doing my reviews, and while this review is not really different, it is rare that I can discuss the motivation behind the company. Yes, the Minuteman Brand makes watches, but they have also had knives produced for them and are currently having a titanium tactical pen done as well. Minuteman is no ordinary watch company though. Minuteman is not just about making money for moneyโs sake. Thatโs because Minuteman was started as a company that not only wants to sell products at an affordable price and keep them USA made as much as possible, but also give 25% of the profits toward charities that help U.S Veterans and their families.
In the video I go on to explain the brand and their efforts a little more, so please make sure to give it a look and also get an HD view of the MM01 Polished case with blue dial.

Now with all I said above, the motivation behind the company sounds great, but how is the actual watch?
The solid stainless steel case is all high polished as the title suggests, and a nice slim profile coming in at only 12mm thick. The style is very much a classic field watch, with a clean dial with large easily read numbers.
The Minuteman MM01 ships with a padded zippered case travel pouch, complete with Minuteman branding. ย A nice options that keeps the watch safe, and will not take up space in a drawer.
Minuteman did a great job with an easy to read dial, with large numerals, and even though it has text on it, it is very subtle with the red text on the deep royal blue dial. When it comes to the hour and minute hands, one thing that Minuteman did right was the length of the hands. I see many WIS complain about watches that the hands do not reach all the way to the hour/minute markers, and that is not an issue here. At the top of the dial, you will find the Minuteman logo, and if you look at the lume shots, you will see this is also coated in luminescent paint, giving it that โcoolโ factor in the dark.
This is the newest version of the MM01 case, and their first time doing it in all high polish. The knurled crown is well protected by the crown guards and operates very smoothly. While not a dive watch, it is a screw down crown and caseback, and is 200m water resistant.
