Golfer Jessica Korda is New TAG Heuer Brand Ambassador
Female sport stars have been all over the news in the last few weeks, from the World Cup winning U.S. womenโs soccer team to 2015 Wimbledon tennis champ Serena Williams. Thereโs also a new winner to watch for on the horizon and TAG Heuer has snapped her up to be their newest brand ambassador.
Jessica Korda of Bradenton, Florida, is just 22 but already a seasoned pro who has made a name for herself on the professional golf circuit with three wins on the global LPGA tour. In addition to being a rising star in pro golf, Korda is a pretty blonde with a winning personality and a sense of humor. All of the above make her an ideal brand ambassador for a luxury watch brand that is aiming at a young, active audience.
TAG Heuer CEO and LVMH Group Watch Division president Jean-Claude Biver explained why Korda is a great choice for the brand: โI am delighted that Jessica has chosen to become an ambassador for TAG Heuer. At the tender age of 22, she already has the spirit of a champion and a bold personality, which makes her stand out in the world of golf.
โShe has talent in its purest form, a free spirit and a game-changing approach, which is just what TAG Heuer is looking for. Her passion for communication will bring new energy to the brand, enabling TAG Heuer to connect even more with young people.โ
After making her debut for TAG Heuer at the U.S. Open, Korda went on to compete in the 2015 U.S. Womenโs Open held July 9 through 12 at the Lancaster Country Club in Pennsylvania. Alas, she lost to South Korean Gee Chun.
Still, weโre sure to see more from this rising star, both on the links and in ads for TAG Heuer watches.
