Hublot has been the Official Timekeeper of Ferrari since 2011 and the maker of fine Swiss watches recently took over Miami to show off the newest timepiece inspired by the sleek and iconic Italian sports car.
Miami has to be one of the better places to drive a racy Ferrari automobile since you can cruise with the top down all year long. What locale could be more perfect for showing off both the luxury sports cars and a limited edition luxury watch?
There was snow falling in some parts of the country on Saturday November 15, but Miami was sunny and beautiful as Hublot invited an exclusive group of VIP clients to the brandโs Bal Harbour boutique for the launch of its latest luxury watch. In honor of the limited edition Big Bang Ferrari 305 timepiece, the parking lot of the boutique was turned into the worldโs most expensive parking lot as 40 of Ferrariโs most iconic models were on display.
Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe stated: โWe are thrilled to celebrate our long-standing partnership with Ferrari, and to honor our Miami clients, with the launch of the Big Bang Ferrari 305.ย Miami is a very important and strong market for Hublot.ย It is an international shopping destination, known for attracting stylish and luxurious clientele from around the world, and weโre excited to offer this collection exclusively at our Bal Harbour boutique.โ
The Big Bang Ferrari 305 is available in two finishes, King Gold and Titanium, both having embellishments of red, white and blueโand of course, the famous Ferrari dancing horse logo. These embellishments can be seen on the hands, counters, minute tracks and straps of the 45mm timepiece. The Ferrari logo appears on the chronograph pusher at the 4 oโclock mark with the Ferrari decal placed at 9 oโclock on the dial.
The sapphire crystal has interior/exterior anti-reflective coating and the case-back of each watch is engraved with the exclusive limited edition number for each piece. The HUB 1241 UNICO movement was developed and manufactured in-house by Hublot. The Hublot Big Bang Ferrari 305 is water resistant to 100 meters and has a power reserve of 72 hours. Each piece includes two interchangeable straps of black or blue leather on rubber. The first bracelet is of blue leather with white stitching and white rubber backing while the second sports black Schedoni leather with white stitching and white rubber backing. The clasp is made from King Gold or polished Titanium with a satin finish.
These very limited edition watches will be sold only at the Hublot Bal Harbour boutique with the King Gold model produced in just 25 pieces and the Titanium in 50 pieces. Prices are still TBA but a previous edition of the Hublot Big Bang Ferrari King Gold Limited carried a list price of $43,600 to $45,900.
