The Serpenti watch Ref# SP35C6GDG.2T is crafted in 18kt yellow gold and is set with full cut (58 facets) round brilliant diamonds which adorn the two sides of the snake head inspired case. The diamonds used in this piece are internally flawless (IF) – VVS1 in clarity and are F-G in color. The 18kt gold main crown is set with a cabochon cut pink spinel which adds a touch of sophistication to this already intrinsically masterful lady’s watch.
The dial is silver opaline which features a hand engraved guilloche soleil (sun burst) treatment. This gives the dial a textured, almost 3 dimensional appearance. Bulgari uses applied 18kt gold Roman numerals at the 12, and 6 positions, and applied 18kt gold indexes at each of the other hour positions. The hands are also 18kt gold sword shaped which stand out gracefully against the dial making for optimal legibility. The inscription (BVLGARI) fits neatly between the central dial and the 12 o’clock position.
The SP35C6GDG.2T carries the famous Tubogas bracelet system which is also crafted from 18kt yellow gold. The Tubogas bracelet system is patented by Bulgari. The patent protects the bendable quality which is enabled by tiny titanium springs in each and every single link. The bracelet tapers gently from the head to the tail of the watch reminiscent of the body of a snake.
Driving this piece is an accurate Swiss made quartz movement. Quartz was chosen as the movement type in order to keep the dimensions of the case small for a demure look.
