-Brera Orologi Dinamico First Impression Video-
Iโll be the first to admit watches such as the Brera Orologi Dinamico are not usually my typical style. I like more of a rugged timepiece, but there is always a place for a nice casual/dress chronograph in everyoneโs collection. Especially when dressing up for a night on the town or going to the office.
Brera Orologi is a brand I was not too familiar with. I had always seen them in my news feed on Facebook or elsewhere, but never really looked into them deeper. That is until I saw the Dinamico (Di-nam-ico would be how you pronounce it). Something about this model really stood out to me. The two-eye chronograph, the dark royal blue dial with royal blue accents, the blue strap. The Dinamico just has an upscale look about it.
Brera Orologi watches are designed and conceived in Milan Italy, where fashion is king. So, Brera Orologi designs their watches with fashion in mind. I cannot say the same for all their models, but the Dinamico is definitely a fashionable watch and is made with high quality standards. One thing of note though, I am not sure where Brera Orologi watches are produced. The dial is marked with โSwiss Movementโ, meaning most likely it was not produced or assembled in Switzerland. While this takes nothing away from the watch or the quality, it is something I wanted to point out.
With a suggested retail price of $795, the Dinamico is not exactly affordable to most, but does have an array of great features that many of us look for when selecting a watch.

The case measures in at 44mm wide and 14mm thick, so not exactly a dress watch to most, but for someone like me that does not follow those traditions; it can be easily worn for such occasions. I typically do not wear oversized watches, but I still like my watches to stand out a little. The lug to lug is short at 50mm, so the Dinamico is a watch that should wear comfortably on many wrist sizes. The majority of the case is brushed steel with polished bevels that extend down to the lugs. The screw-down crown has a very โgrippyโ coin edge and is beautifully engraved with the Brera Orologi โBโ logo. I am quite fond of the chronograph pushers. I am not sure why, but the shape and size are appealing to me. Atop the case sits a domed sapphire crystal. I really have a love/hate relationship with domed crystals. I like the look from afar, but it does create distortion at certain angles — mostly any angle, except for straight down.
