   Several issues with the Maverick. 1, it can only be serviced at an authorized dealer, or the warranty is voided. Check to ensure you have an authorized service center near you. I purchased mine from a Macy’s, but they weren’t authorized to service it. 2, it needed to be serviced, when the battery died, after just one year. 3, it needed to be serviced when the second-hand fell off. 4, the band attaches to the watch in a ‘proprietary’ design. My rubber band replacement is listed at $140, without the option of an ‘aftermarket’ provider. 5. After some more aggressive physical exercises, the date display “shook” off it’s position and from there, never quite worked correctly. Yeah,otherwise, it was a great watch.
