Great review! I bought this watch a little while back and have to say I’m really happy with it. I actually got the 34mm size which fits my scrawny wrists a lot better. You mentioned dependability issues: My watch stopped working about a month in, but Momentum has pretty good customer service and replaced it with no problems, and I haven’t had any issues since. Also, the watch has effectively a 6 year warranty (2 years, but its extended when you send it in for a battery replacement), so that’s pretty reassuring too. Mr M P Day (commenter), you asked about the alarm: I’d say it’s as loud as I expected it to be. Its loud enough to wake me up, but it won’t blast its way through thick blankets (but then again, i’m not sure how loud it’d have to be for that). I believe it has the same alarm as the Vortech GMT, which Momentum has a demo video of on youtube.
