I’ve been thinking about saving up for a Seiko Sumo for a bit, would you consider this closer to the Sumo or the Turtle in terms of finish, build, features?
Its all subjective. And of course, this being a prototype, its hard to say exactly what the finished product will be like, but it should be well above its price point on kickstarter. Sumo is a nice Seiko, but does not have a sapphire crystal as standard, and the new Turtle reissue is nice, but I have heard of some quality control issues, and it is a little more money than this Deaumar as well. I think if you like the style of the Deaumar, you cant go wrong for the price. Thanks for the comments and if I can help you with anything else let me know.
