History
Ballast watches are created with the Royal Navy Submarine in mind. Submarines were created to be durable, stealthy and precise. These are the fundamentals by which Ballast watches have been created and are built.
Inspired by the military and submarines, these watches are heavy duty, without appearing as if they are heavy duty. Industrial strength stenciled logos and messages appear on all of the watches as an homage to the submarines that were declared by Winston Churchill to be “underhanded, unfair, and damned un-English”, but eventually became a crucial part of the Royal Naval defense.
