Today we look at another model from Boschett Timepieces, the Reef Ranger (Version 2). This upgraded and redesigned version of the Reef Ranger, is definitely a more aggressive style, but still refined with some nice improvements in both design and function.

The newest Reef Ranger, equipped with a 42mm case, uses hex screw bars for the bracelet attachment, does not have a cyclops over the date like the fist, has a much better bracelet and clasp, and a more original design.

ย Boschett Reef Ranger features:

316L surgical grade SS

300m water resistant

The packaging is like all Boschett Watches I have encountered and discussed in my previous reviews. This large jewelry type box can hold two watches, extra straps, rings, etc, and comes with the Boschet Tool; which you can use as a screwdriver, hex screwdriver, spring bar tool, and more.

The all steel case is brushed throughout. ย In fact, there is not one polished part to this watch, really giving it that โ€œtoolโ€ diver feel. The unique case is fairly understated. At certain angles, it looks like the sides of the case are cut out, but in fact the sides of the case, except for the lugs, are sticking out about 1mm or so. This is due to the way the case is machined, where they start with a solid block of steel and shape it, leaving the lug areas slightly recessed than the rest.

The crown is very solid and easy to grip and screws down firmly into the case. ย Notice no crown guards here, but the way the crown screws into the case, I feel it would take quite an impact to damage the crown. The nicely raised bezel case has an aggressive coin edge style grip. The bezel insert is brushed steel as well, with engraved numbers and markers filled with black enamel.
